Welcome to Veshika. By accessing or using our luxury rental platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
1. Rental Agreement
1.1 Rental Period: All rentals are for a specified period agreed upon at booking. Standard rental periods are 4, 7, or 14 days. The rental period begins on the delivery date and ends on the return date.
1.2 Delivery & Pickup: We provide white-glove delivery and pickup services in major cities. Delivery dates must be confirmed at least 7 days in advance. Express delivery (2-3 days) is available for an additional fee.
1.3 Extensions: Rental extensions are subject to availability and must be requested at least 48 hours before the original return date. Extension fees will be calculated pro-rata based on the daily rental rate.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 Pricing: All prices are listed in INR and include GST. The rental fee covers professional dry cleaning, quality inspection, and standard delivery within city limits.
2.2 Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of 20-30% of the garment's retail value is required at booking. The deposit is fully refunded within 7-10 business days after the garment is returned and inspected.
2.3 Payment Methods: We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, UPI, and net banking through our secure payment partner Razorpay.
3. Care & Damage Policy
3.1 Normal Wear: Minor wear and tear from normal use is expected and covered. This includes light makeup stains, minor creasing, and loose threads.
3.2 Damage Protection: All rentals include complimentary damage waiver covering accidental stains, tears, and minor damages up to ₹5,000. Damages exceeding this amount will be deducted from the security deposit.
3.3 Lost Items: In the event of a lost or stolen garment, the full retail value will be charged. We recommend keeping items secure during your rental period.
4. Returns & Cancellations
4.1 Return Process: Garments must be returned in the original garment bag provided. Our courier partner will collect the item from your address on the scheduled return date.
4.2 Late Returns: Late returns incur a fee of 50% of the daily rental rate per day. Returns delayed by more than 3 days without prior approval may result in additional charges.
4.3 Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 7+ days before delivery receive a full refund. Cancellations made 3-6 days before delivery receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.
5. Hygiene & Quality Standards
5.1 Professional Cleaning: Every garment undergoes professional dry cleaning and steam pressing before delivery. We partner with certified dry cleaners specializing in luxury fabrics.
5.2 Quality Inspection: Our quality team inspects each piece for damages, missing embellishments, and overall condition before and after every rental.
5.3 Authenticity Guarantee: All designer pieces are 100% authentic and sourced directly from authorized retailers or verified private collections.
6. Limitation of Liability
Veshika is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the rental.
